BC Gesves: Gitano offspring 1 and 2 in final 6-year-olds |
The Gitano van Berkenbroeck offspring dominated the final of the Belgian championship for 6-year-old horses in Gesves. A total of 204 six-year-olds competed at this Belgian Championship, including only two Gitano offspring: Fauve DB (mv Clinton) under Caio Carvalho and La Costa (mv Calvino Z) under Vicky van de Poel, but it were Fauve DB and La Costa claiming place 1 and 2. |

Pironella two times in top three at Knokke |
The Nonstop mare Pironella is being ridden by Stephex rider Petronella Andersson nowadays. Together they were on the podium two times during the last week of Knokke Hippique in the classes 1.50m CSI3*. |

Gitano also wins the Grand Prix in Poznan |
Following their victory in the Longines Rankingproef on Friday, Juan Carlos Garcia and our stallion Gitano van Berkenbroeck (Nabab de Rêve) also grabbed the Grand Prix in Poznan. This Polish grass event is a CSI4* show with a lot of big names on the list. Also this weekend the eight-year-old Nonstop-mare Javenia won a 1.40m class in Lier. |

Gitano wins Longines Ranking Class Poznan |
The Longines Ranking 1.50m today in Poznan was won by Juan-Carlos Garcia with our Belgian stallion Gitano van Berkenbroeck (Nabab de Rêve). They edged out the man in form Doron Kuipers and two Polish riders. |

Nonstop-zoon vierde in GP Bonheiden |
No Limit Z (Nonstop) sprong dubbel nul en werd vierde in de Grote Prijs van Bonheiden. Hij zit nog steeds onder het zadel van eigenaar Eric Lombard. Intussen is ook Ben Maher goed op dreef met een Nonstop-zoon. Voor een Amerikaanse eigenaar rijdt hij sinds kort Gallip, die met één fout in de Grote Prijs van Hamburg al dicht bij de top aanleunt. |

Gitano third in Small GP Lummen |
After a great start of the season in Italy, Gitano also started the Nations Cup Season well. In Lummen he placed third in the Saturday 1.50m. Only three horses reached the jump-off. |

One of the eyecatchers of the last BWP stallion approvals is acquired by Berkenbroeck and Kurt Asselberghs. Oscar was the best and only remaining of the four interesting sons of Quint vh Maarlo Z that were presented this year. Quint vh Maarlo Z is the young promising Quidam stallion of Mathijs van Asten. The damline gave Ublesco, Obrahim, Turbo vh Gestelhof, Ceblesse and the top mare Kablesse. |
